A POLICEMAN'S LAMENT
We come into this profession by taking an oath. The sense of caring and dedication that goes along with that oath does not go away when you no longer have the responsibility of the job. It becomes a part of you, and it stays with you for life. If you are not ready for the seperation when it finally comes, it is a massive weight to carry...So my fellow Officers, and Deputies, my Brothers and Sister, prepare as you arrive at the end of your journey (however you get there, either injury or full career retirement) for your own peace of mind, and well being. I only wish I had.
WHINE & MOAN
Okay, back to another really funny song. if this doesn't get you laughing, then I might not be the Hall of Fame caliber Songwriter that I see myself as!
I was recovering from a serious upper respiratory infection, combined with asthma. I was on medications that were wiping out my sleep cycles...I was up two hours, asleep maybe 2 hours. all night every night, for about 5 weeks. It was miserable.
One of those nights, I was in my kitchen at 3 a.m. with a flashlight as not to wake Katie, and I had had enough. I was overwhelmed and frustrated and at my wits end.
I saw some dust in a small spot because of the angle of the flashlight. I attacked like it was a an escaping felon. I ended up cleaning the whole area. and a funny thing happened... as I finished and looked at the clean area, just for a second, I actually felt better right then in that moment.
So I went right to my writing station and spend the rest of that morning writing this song. To me, one of the best I have ever written.
If you have troubles in your life of any kind, from any source...Listen to this often and you will get better, I promise. This is my legacy to all my Law Enforcement family members everywhere...

GOLF AGAIN!
This was the first song I ever streamed, and it released in Oct. of 2025. it was certainly not the first one I ever wrote! I've been songwriting for over 50 years!
But it is about golf because that is what I have been doing a lot of lately. It is about the love of the game and what keeps us coming back!
A DEM STAFFER'S NIGHTMARE!
A purely policitical "HUMOR" song! So, go easy on me! I have decided to not add any other politically motivated song to my catalog of songs. There are a couple here but they were released, pre- decision! Let the music bring us together!
This song came from the simple truth that Katie has been the anchor in every season of my life. It’s not about grand gestures or dramatic moments — it’s about the everyday loyalty, the trust, and the way she shows up without fail. The song is a thank‑you, written in the only language I know: honesty. And I finally found a way to "SAY IT RIGHT" My hope is that others can share it with their wives and girlfriends just to show how much they care also.

Night writer is very descriptive of how I write most of my songs. It is delivered in a very honest, revealing way. Since I became able to restart my songwriter/storyteller career, many of my golf buddies are thinking I am just a big softie and they just didn't know it! Think again...There is plenty of room for both in me, so I am still one of the most competitive people you will ever meet...(FOUR!!!)At the same time...I love this song! Please enjoy!
NIGHT WRITER
3 TO 1
This is a light hearted song about gamblers! It is rooted in my 12 year experience as a Full-Time Professional Poker Player....I have played every where and with every big name Player you can this of. I have numerous "cashes" in World Series and World Poker Tour, and I've won a few tournaments here and there as well. So, gamblers...I know!
I once had a well know Poker player, invite me to the golf couse at the resort the day before the tournament started (we had both arrived early). when we got there, being a gambler, he wanted to play for cash (a Lot of cash!) on every hole...being a sly fox, I agreed and glady took his money, without telling him that I had recently retired as a Professional Golfer! Gamblers...go figure! lol!
DRONE TAXIS IN THE SKY
Okay...This is one of the "carry over" Political songs, but it is truly funny and I think anyone could enjoy the humor of it... If you like it! great... if you don't great! And here is the weird part...I just saw on the news there is a Drone Taxi Service about to go live! Wow! I wrote about something before it happened!
FAMILY FEUD
This song is about almost all of us. The way people see things and the way that affects relationships. it is spot on and my hope for everyone who hears this, it helps.
Maybe people who are holding heavy hearts about relationships with family members, will realize there is a better path... It's right here, all you need do is listen!
I too, have some family members that this was especially written for... Sometimes, a song can even seem like an apology or acceptance of some part of responsibility... My Suggestion: Go forward and leave the past in the past. Life is too short for anything else!
Love trumps all other hands! I pray all the right people read this and hear the song, and feel the truth, and the love behind it, and we all go forward from here!
My second 5 song EP - released Jan. 7th
There are some really good songs in this EP, my song writing mojo was really starting to kick in again when I wrote these! SONGS LISTED BELOW:
This is a look at gamblers! It is a funny story about one the greatest players in the world (The "Poker Brat" as he calls himself) getting mad at me at a poker table, and how that played out... Funny song right here! Okay, maybe just a little of this is poetic license, but it's a kick!
No politicing here folks, this is purely a song for American Patriots of all political pursuasions! And yes, I am expecting a "Kudo" call from Lee Greenwood on this one too!
This song turned out to be one of my greatest song writing challenges of all time. I sat down at my desk, determined to write a song and waited for an idea to pop in .... I was not giving up so I declared I wasn't leaving my desk, until I had written a song.... Still...nothing came! So... Out of a lack of any alternate, I wrote about just that. "NUTHIN"! This is how it turned out and I am very proud of this result to a challenge to my creativity. I grew from this in my Songwriting-Storytelling journey, and came away from this experience as an improved Artist.
This song is about our two little furry "Best Friends" We used to be have three but "Emily" Whom I also loved dearly) a retired feral cat that needed a home very badly but sadly, moved away!
She would attack "Kiki" And "Sammy" (Two cat fighting pacifists) if either one one them came to close to her! She might of had a few issues. But, good news...She moved to live with my son Ben and he brings her to visit often.
